Back in 1951 there were probably few who thought, though some probably hoped, that the club would still be going strong nearly 70 years later. However, despite many setbacks along the way, including being given just three weeks to vacate our premises some years ago, we are now going from strength to strength and are proud to possess our own clubrooms. These have been extended to include toilet facilities, a kitchen and library / meeting room.
The OO gauge section is constructing a new continuous run DCC layout and has completed a running layout (Faugham Hill). The 0 gauge section is working on the scenery for their end to end layout (Crestley). The 16mm layout has its track laid and scenery complete. The 4mm narrow gauge section have a completed layout (Castlefinn) and are making plans for the next layout so there is plenty to interest everyone.
