Faugham Hill This is the 00 section's main running layout. A split level, continuous loop, four track layout on which any track can be DC or DCC controlled. The two upper level tracks are code 100 and the two lower level tracks are code 75 so all members locos and stock can be catered for. There is also a small set of sidings.
Denmark Road The OO gauge section is currently busy planning their next layout. It is set in a fictional commuter town in the Southern Region in the early 60s. The baseboards measure 12' x 8' and this is the track plan. It is a continuous run, DCC controlled and with a four track through station.
Track laying has commenced on our new OO layout. The photo shows two of our members starting work on the fiddle yard.
Work is continuing on our new OO layout, Denmark road. The electrical team are currently installing the power bus and track feeds, and the first loco has been run.
The first trains have run on Denmark Road, our new Southern region layout! We will continue to test the layout for the next couple of weeks, then we'll complete the the electrics. After that comes the ballasting and scenery!
Loco Shed
This small layout consists of a single, 6ft x 2ft, board and at the moment is for DC running only. It is in the process of being renovated having been acquired by the club from its previous owner in a state of disrepair. It is set somewhere in Cheshire and has a turntable and loco sheds. Despite being small it has plenty of operating potential.
